Axiom 38 LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a Michigan limited liability company and the developer and operator of Principia (bundle ID: com.axiom38.principia), a mathematics education application available for iOS and Android devices (the "App" or "Service").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from users of the App, how we use it, how we protect it, and what rights you have regarding your information.
Axiom 38 LLC is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are not a data broker, advertiser, or marketing company. We are an educational technology company. Our purpose in collecting any data is solely to provide and improve the App.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Service. Specifically, we may collect:
(a) Learning Progress Data
We collect data about your activity within the App, including which topics or modules you have completed, quiz and practice results, mastery levels, time spent on activities, and similar in-app learning metrics. This data is used to personalize your experience and allow you to track your progress.
(b) Account Information
If you create an account, we collect your email address. We do not collect your full name unless you voluntarily provide it as part of your display name.
(c) Device Information
We may collect non-personally identifiable device information such as device type, operating system version, App version, and crash/diagnostic data to help us maintain and improve the App. This information does not identify you personally.
(d) Purchase Status (via RevenueCat)
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat provides us with information about whether your account has an active subscription and what tier of access you have. We do not receive your full credit card or payment details. All payment information is handled directly by Apple or Google.
(e) Parental Email (for Child Users Under 13 Only)
When setting up an account for a child under 13, we collect the parent's or guardian's email address for the purpose of providing verifiable parental consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This email is used solely for consent verification and communications about the child's account. See Section 5 for more information.
Information We Do NOT Collect: We do not collect your full legal name, precise or approximate geographic location, device contacts, camera or microphone access, photos or video, biometric data, browsing history outside the App, advertising identifiers for advertising purposes, Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or financial account information.

We do not share your personal information with any advertising network, data broker, or marketing platform. We do not serve any advertisements within the App.
4.3 No Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for their own commercial purposes. We will never sell your data.
4.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of Axiom 38 LLC, prevent wrongdoing, or protect the personal safety of users.
4.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you prior to your information becoming subject to a materially different privacy policy.
We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and to protecting the privacy of children under the age of 13.
Verifiable Parental Consent: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. A parent or guardian must provide their email address and affirmatively check the consent acknowledgment box in the App.
What We Collect from Child Users: For children under 13, we collect only learning progress data and the parent's or guardian's email address for consent purposes. We do not collect a child's name, location, photo, or any contact information from the child directly.
Parental Rights: Parents and legal guardians may at any time review their child's data, request deletion, withdraw consent, or refuse further collection by contacting support@getprincipia.com.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where required by law to retain certain records longer.
Data associated with child accounts under 13 will be deleted promptly upon receipt of a parental deletion request, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion.
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data indefinitely for purposes of product development and improvement.

The App is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
